No assembly at all. You literally unfold the three panels, clip in the heating mat with the safety lock connector, and plug it in. Took maybe 20 seconds. My cat claimed it day one — guess I'm buying a second one 😂

Perfect under my office desk — folds flat when not in use

Finally a foot warmer that heats the bottom too — not just the sides
I tried two other foot warmers before this one and they all had the same problem — they only heated the walls, so my soles were still cold on the hard base.
